About the Course

The Glashedy is a big course in every way - it's set in towering dunes and measures over 7,200 yards from the back tees, designed as a tough course to test the very best players. Like so many golf courses in this part of the world the setting is spectacular, with wonderful views and dramatic mountains giving a lovely backdrop, and the dunes are at their most interesting where you'll find the most thrilling holes. This distinctive modern links is enjoyable by all golfers while still serving as a test to the best, offering a brilliant and consistently exciting mix of all that is great about links golf, combining traditional links elements with new and different features. Regarded as the finest links golf in Ireland, Ballyliffin has the Old Links and Glashedy Links golf courses.
