Fallen Oak Golf Club

Tom Fazio's masterpiece where championship golf meets pristine natural beauty in the heart of the De Soto National Forest—the crown jewel of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

About the Course

Fallen Oak Golf Club stands as Mississippi's premier golfing destination, a 510-acre Tom Fazio design that opened in 2006 and has consistently ranked as the state's best course by Golf Digest and Golfweek. Exclusively available to guests of the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, this ultra-premium experience delivers the kind of white-glove service and meticulous conditioning rarely encountered outside of exclusive private clubs. The course winds through ancient hardwoods, towering live oaks, magnolias, and pecans interspersed with wetlands and ponds, creating a secluded sanctuary completely removed from the glitzy chaos of the nearby casino floor. Ten strategically concealed bridges and cart paths preserve the natural landscape while elevation changes throughout the round test both your skill and your nerve. The dramatic, theatrical routing features water hazards that demand respect without overwhelming the design, while deep strategic bunkers frame the fairways and penalize wayward drives. What sets Fallen Oak apart is the totality of the experience: from the moment you pass through the secure gates and glimpse the iconic fallen oak tree on the 18th hole, everything is orchestrated to make you feel like a major championship player. The Acadian-style clubhouse perched atop a hill offers jaw-dropping panoramic views of the finishing hole through floor-to-ceiling windows, an exceptional restaurant, full-service locker room with shoe-shining attendants, and a pro shop stocked with premium equipment.

Best Time to Visit
Fall and winter (October through February) offer the most pleasant playing conditions with mild temperatures and lower humidity, making the challenging layout more manageable. Spring can be wet and muggy. Summer is extremely hot and humid, making afternoon rounds particularly grueling. The course hosts the PGA Tour Champions Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic in March, which reflects the timing of peak play season. Book well in advance year-round, as tee times are extremely limited and highly sought after.
