Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club is consistently rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest and few golf courses in North America boast its spectacular combination of setting, extraordinary vistas and naturally sculpted fairways. Built on an abandoned mine site, this world-class championship course weaves the history of Canmore and the Canadian Pacific Railway into the natural contours and rugged geological formations that are the signature of mountain golf. Measuring 7,195 yards from the back tee and 5,136 from the front, Stewart Creek challenges the professional player while allowing for a stimulating game for the novice. The course usually opens in early May and runs through October, weather permitting. Every shot here is framed by Rocky Mountain peaks, elevation changes keep you engaged, and the golf course is built within a wildlife corridor which is a natural pathway that the wildlife use to move through the Bow Valley, with sightings including such animals as elk, deer, coyote, black bears, cougars and even grizzly bears.
Championship mountain course stretching 7,009 yards with elevation changes, forest corridors, and dramatic Rocky Mountain backdrops.
